Already knowing that Kylo Ren would be scarce with praise she takes what she can get and at the very least appreciated the attempt. If something so backhanded could even be called an attempt. Arms wrapped loose around her ankles and chin tucked on her knees, she listens. Hearing for the first time how magic could be an antithesis to itself and in such absolute terms as a Light and Dark side.

"Yes."

Not entirely. Chise only vaguely understood that as a principle magic as a whole let alone as two opposing facets. It was all very dramatic, coming from Ren. She remembers how Elias was incapable of preforming purifying or creation magics and wondered if the same limitations applied to Ren. If he only chose the Dark side of the Force because the Light had rejected him in some capacity. Privately, she knows she can't limit herself to one or the other. And hadn't even Snoke said as much? The likelihood Ren had not been made aware that Chise had no control over the energy she took in or generated was clear. Only for now it would behoove her to listen and do as Ren tells her.

"I feel..."

Chise closes her eyes and for a moment sinks into the endless depths of the energy that surrounds not only them but saturates the very air they breathe. The sensation was almost as overwhelming as when she was performing a new spell. Allowing herself to feel the Force course through them both. Even if it were only for a few moments the sense of infinity brought on by this brush against all which the Force encompassed seemed to go on for an eternity.

When her eyes open again, her gaze wonders passed Ren towards the darkest corner of the room. It was faint and indistinct at first but there had been an effect to her delving so deeply into the Force. At first it was as indistinct as smoke or a distant mirage but an image wreathed in a blue light took on solid form. She had knocked - and something had answered. Without even considering the consequences, Chise gasped and scrambled to her feet before retreating behind Ren. If he didn't slouch so much he would almost be Elias's height. That she would go running behind him made some sort of sense then.

"Ren," She said thinly.

"There's a man in the corner over there."
